My daughter’s wedding was fast approaching. I wanted to help her out with the expenses because I know that staging this grand occasion really costs a lot.  Of course, I want her to have the most memorable wedding so that she would have something to reminisce about when she grows old just like I do.  Since I do not have extra money with my meager savings account and pension funds, I decided to sell old gold jewelry that I have been keeping in my in-house safe.

Since I did not know how to sell it without my daughter blowing my surprise, I turned to my friends to ask for help.  One of them suggested that I go online to sell them.  She recommended a website where you can even sell scrap jewelry and they will send the check direct to your house.  I am really not familiar with computers so I asked for her help on this.  We went to the website and filled out the forms. I sent the jewelry to them and I got the check a few days after. My daughter was teary-eyed when I handed her the money. It’s not as much but I know it will really help her a lot.
