I had been given the name of three cleaning supplies companies that were supposedly all cheaper than the current company we were using. I have never paid attention to any of the bills that we have received for our cleaning supplies in the past and hoped that we have not been paying too much for that long.

I had my secretary give me the price list for our current janitorial products provider and sat down with the intent to call and request the price lists for all the newly recommended companies. It took over three hours for me to get all the faxed price lists back and compare them.

In fact, the janitorial products provider was priced about thirty percent higher than all the other ones. I called their main office and cancelled any orders that we had with them and asked them to send out any outstanding bills we had for them and I would personally make sure to get their payment to them quickly. I just wanted to be finished with them and move on to one of the new companies that look like they are going to be saving us quite a bit of money. I wish that someone would have brought this to my attention sooner.
