Setting up term life insurance was not as hard as I thought it was going to be. I decided to look into it after my brother told me that he set up a half a million dollar no medical life insurance policy earlier this month. I figured that if he was set for the future and he had no wife and kids, I should definitely plan for my family’s future.

I called my insurance agent that I had used for years and told him all about how my brother had gotten some no medical life insurance and that I was very interested in getting some term life insurance quotes. He told me that I was making a very smart move and I would be shocked at how many families are not ready for the unexpected that should be. He went on to explain different types of life insurance, just so that I knew all of them and then gave me a quote over the phone for a term life insurance policy he thought would fit my needs.

I asked my agent to send over copies of all the paperwork that I would have to sign in order to put the term life insurance policy into place. I wanted to be sure that my wife and I knew exactly what we were signing and that we understood all the fine print of the policy also.
