A great reason not to build your own website happened to me last year as I was planning to start on online business. I thought I could handle making my own website but it was a lot harder than I ever thought it would be. I had no clue that there would be so much involved in building a website.

I can see why some would want to build their own website after I did some research on how much it could cost to build an e-commerce website. But to do it yourself is almost not even worth starting unless you are an expert.

A website design company will do a much better job than a person would ever do on their own. Beside the layout looking professional there are so many other things to consider. I never would have thought about user friendly type stuff. Like how easy it needs to be for a visitor to find the information they want. If they can’t find the information they need, they will leave in a matter of seconds.

You certainly do not have long to convince someone to browse your website, normally about 2 seconds or less. A web design company knows this and will set the website up to be very functional so you do not lose potential customers.
